The 2018 Masterworks series celebrates the very best of orchestral music, including some of the greatest and most uplifting works in the orchestral repertoire; Beethoven's uplifting ‘Eroica’, Shostakovich and a moving musical commemoration to the First World War. The season as always features an array of talented soloists.

This year’s series has some real gems to look forward to. Celebrating all that was Kiwi Music of the 80s, sophisticated glitz of Kurt Weill, blockbuster fun for all the family with The Music from Moana performed by Te Vaka. The series is complete with favourites Last Night of the Proms and Festive Christmas.
