Peter and the Wolf is a ‘symphonic fairy tale for children’ that introduces listeners to classical music and helps them to recognise the distinct sounds produced by various instruments of the orchestra. The orchestra will perform two concerts in English, two in Te Reo Māori, and two relaxed-style performances for audiences with auditory sensitivities and special needs. Ideal for young children, this intimate and relaxed setting is perfect for introducing your wee ones to live orchestral music with opportunities to mingle with the musicians and try out instruments.   Just so there are no surprises when you arrive, please do take the time to read Christchurch Town Hall’s Conditions of Entry   CSO concert goers guide (All three days):  - Drop offs: There is a drop off area outside the main entrance of the Christchurch Town Hall on Kilmore Street. - Parking: The closest public car park is Wilson's Carpark at 66-68 Kilmore St. This is about 4 minutes' walk away. For more car parking options, please visit Parkopedia.co.nz - The performance: The performance will be in the Limes Room in the Christchurch Town Hall, which is upstairs. - Accessibility: There is a lift available for people who have wheelchairs or other mobility issues. There are a number of stairs (32) to get to the level where the performance is. We will have a number of concerts hosts around to assist. - Bathrooms: The bathrooms are to the left as you walk in through the main entrance of the Christchurch Town Hall on Kilmore Street.  - You are most welcome to come up and have a chat with the musicians after the concert if you like.  - After the concert, we'll have some instruments for you to try out if you like.    Thursday 11th July performance:   - Parking: People with Mobility Stickers will be able to park across the road from the Town Hall on Kilmore Street.
